Fall Bonfire

Almost a year ago, I was back home visiting family. Months prior to my visit, my dad had been cleaning up dead trees along our fence line. He threw the limbs, branches and twigs into two piles – which seemed to never reach their height limit. The piles grew up and out until it was time to torch them.

Here’s the blazing fire with silhouettes of family members next to it for scale. It was a behemoth.
